It is time to remove oil stains from concrete in our driveway. They have been there a while and something we have been meaning to do for a long time. I am hoping we can get the job done quickly.
I know the oil stains got there because of my husband’s old car. It always needed something done to it which was pretty frustrating. I was so glad when he finally sold it. Sadly, the oil stains stayed.
We had always talked about planning a day to remove oil stains from concrete but we never put it on the calendar. A few months ago I decided to do that and now we have a plan. I know my husband isn’t too excited about this project but it needs to be done.
Now that his car is gone, we know we won’t have any more oil stains, assuming my car holds up. It would be nice to be able to park on a clean driveway. I know cleaning up the oil stains on the driveway will be a lot of work but it will be worth it.
If the old standard way of using Kitty Litter doesn’t work we will try a new environmentally friendly concrete cleaning product that is a Dry Concrete cleaner.
We think we are going to try kitty litter to remove oil stains from concrete. We have heard it works really well. I am not so sure but it is worth a try. We are going to buy the inexpensive kind, put it on the stains and wait for a while so it is able to work. If this does not work then we will try Dry Concrete cleaner.
After that we will scrub it up, sweep and get rid of the kitty litter. Hopefully we will see a big difference after doing that. If it doesn’t work we will get the Dry concrete cleaner, as they don’t need scrubbing
When it comes to my home, I want it to look nice and that includes the outside as well. I don’t like that it doesn’t look good right now. That is why we are going to try hard to get the stains out.
Once our work is done I will feel much better about my house. We do have other projects to work on so it will be nice to get this out of the way. Hopefully it won’t be too difficult.
